hello everyone,

i have just had surgery on my right hand and i am in a cast / bandaged to the max for the next couple of weeks. i have long hair(as in down to my waist). i cant stand it if it is not tied back and kept under control, any suggestions how i can do this with one hand?

looking forward to some bright ideas

Laura :)

Oh poor you. Very difficult. With this warm weather it will be need to be backed.
If your hair is quite long you may manage to get it in a a SIDE pony tail. Speak
nicely with a neighbour perhaps

good luck

Hmmmmmm.......could you manage to twist it round with your good hand, hold it on top of your head with your cast arm and bung a banana clip in with your good hand?Scared
YES I'VE CHANGED, PAIN DOES THAT TO PEOPLE.

This is a hard one. I also have very long hair- it did used to be waist length nearly but is now shorter. My daughter has waist length hair too and helps me with hair styling/washing when I need it.

The side pony tail and then using a clip instead of a band may help- very good suggestion!

Love,

Amanda

Could you treat yourself to a trip to the hairdresser to get a french plait put in? It should last a while and won't be in your way. Hope you're healing ok XX Ailsa

Hi Laura
my sister has only one hand (she had a stroke aged 6)
she had hair to her waist too she would put her head on the side brush her hair over to the side twist it then use a clip (large one)
so the pony tail was on the side
sorry that is all I can tell you
hope you manage it some-how
good luck
